AFC East NFC East AFC West NFC West

We are officially halfway through the league in uniform rankings, and we have now come to the AFC South. This division is pretty diverse in terms of uniforms, and I can’t say that is completely a compliment. If you need to catch up on anything you may have missed, you can check that out with the links above. For now, we move forward (backwards, depending on how you feel about these uniforms).

4. Jacksonville Jaguars

Admittedly, these are better than they have been. Remember when the Jaguars tried to do the multi-color helmet situation? They had the black fade into gold on the bottom of the helmet and it made me want to puke. The uniforms weren’t much better. They have since made the change to these simpler looks, which I absolutely appreciate. However, I cannot forgive them for what they previously did without a personal and direct apology to me, so they remain at the bottom.

3. Tennessee Titans

I understand the want to change things up, especially for a team that does not get too much publicity in a secondary market. Although the product they have out right now is spectacular, they are still somehow forgotten about consistently. On top of that, these changes to their look took them backwards. What they had before was fantastic, especially the white helmets. Their white helmets were in my top 3 in the league and I loved them. Now the Titans have all navy and it is just not the same. They have more of an industrial look and feel now. I wish they had never changed.

2. Houston Texans

The Houston Texans have been around for about twenty years now, which is crazy to think about. It feels like they just joined us yesterday. Since their beginning, they have made very minimal changes to their uniform lineup and that is a great thing. Their logo is perfect for their name, their colors match (which how can you not with red, white, and blue), and all round this is a great uniform. The Texans themselves as a football team (and maybe a franchise) are a huge question mark, but they have the uniforms going for them.

1. Indianapolis Colts

There is not much to say here and that is an excellent thing because these uniforms absolutely speak for themselves. They are so simple, so timeless, and so classic. They basically look the same as they did fifty plus years ago and history is the thing I appreciate the most. These uniforms are top five in league history.

Real Prediction:

The Titans are going to win this division by Week 4. The Colts lost their quarterback they traded for. Trevor Lawrence will struggle with no help. The Texans have no idea what is going to happen with their quarterback. The Titans’ offense is beyond dangerous, and they are nothing bad on the defensive side either. It’s going to be a three-horse race for the 1st seed in the AFC and Tennessee is right there.
